1. Paliastomi Lake
Paliastomi Lake, located in the Kolkheti National Park, will be an unforgettable experience for you. You can take a pontoon, boat or a kayak to go in the lake and see the beautiful surroundings. You can also have a picnic in the area, observe the birds and enjoy nature. Keep in mind, you will need to book a trip there in advance.

2. Mtirala National Park
Mtirala National Park is probably one of the greenest parks in all of Georgia and the rainiest as well. The park has one- and two-day trails for travelers, all of them marked. You will also find camping sites to enjoy your picnic and free time with the loved ones. As for your day trips, there are two possibilities, to see the waterfall or a lake. And if you are fit enough you can even manage to visit both. The park has zip line and rope park to offer as well.

3. Mountains in Adjara

Small colorful houses scattered in the huge mountains, Soviet architecture and a lot of greenery is what attracts visitors there. On a 4 hour drive you can see several small and beautiful villages such as Keda, Shuakhebi, Khulo, Goderdzi, Beshumi and many more. And, of course, you can always turn back and make your trip shorter.

4. Batumi Botanical Garden
Batuni Botanical Garden is located on Mtsvane Cape near Batumi and if you have not seen it before, you should definitely visit. The Botanical Garden was founded in 1912 and is a particularly impressive place. Up to 5000 species of plants from different countries and climatic conditions are presented in the garden. The area is interesting not only because of the flora and the views, but also historically. That is why walking there will be both pleasant and fascinating for you.

5. Gonio Fortress
Gonio Fortress is a 1st century historical fortress in Gonio next to Batumi. According to legend, the castle of Gonio is where King Aietus from Argonauts buried his son Apsaros. That is why the fortress is also called Gonio-Apsaros Fortress. The building was of strategic importance in the region and protected the entrances to the Chorokhi and Adjaristskali gorges. The museum has been operating in Gonio Fortress since 2010, where many interesting exhibits are kept. Archaeological excavations in 2015 uncovered the remains of a Roman-era barracks, glassware, and bath mosaics from the second half of the first century.
